Many of those who are struggling with their weight are trying to do something about it: in any given year, almost half of American adults make at least one weight loss attempt, spending upwards of $66 billion on diet plans, diet foods, weight loss supplements and prescriptions, nutrition counseling, gym memberships, weight loss clinics, and surgery.
Yet, despite all of this hard work and financial investment, the majority of people who lose weight will gain it back and they are left frustrated and demoralized.

It seems obvious that for all of our good intents, we are simply taking the wrong approach. Diets simply do not work for most people. The weight loss industry and our society at large has not given us the tools we need to truly transform.
You see, weight loss is an outer transformation, a transformation of the physical body. But without a corresponding inner transformation, long-term weight loss is difficult at best.
